Mohamed Salah returns to Roma squad

Mohamed Salah overcomes an ankle injury to be included in the Roma squad for their Champions League group game against BATE Borisov.

Roma head coach Rudi Garcia has confirmed that Mohamed Salah will be available for tomorrow's Champions League group encounter against BATE Borisov.

The Egypt international has not featured for the Serie A outfit since early November because of an ankle complaint.

However, while he has returned to fitness in time to face BATE, Garcia admitted that the 23-year-old cannot yet complete 90 minutes.

"Mohamed Salah is fine and is ready to play against BATE, but not for the whole match," Garcia told reporters.

Former Chelsea winger Salah has scored six goals from his 14 appearances in all competitions this term.
