Rochdale agree loan deal for Joe Bunney

Rochdale have re-signed Joe Bunney on loan from Northampton until the end of the season.

The move sees Bunney return to Dale for a second spell, having initially joined from Northwich Victoria in 2013.

After making his debut – and scoring – for Rochdale on the final day of the 2012/13 season, he went on to make almost 150 appearances.

The 25-year-old joined Northampton on a permanent deal in January 2018 and has spent the first half of this season on loan at Blackpool.

"I don't really feel like I've left – it has only been a year," Bunney told the club website.

"I've not had a lot of football in that year, so it's good to be home."
