Despite dominating the game and having the better chances, Aberdeen were held to a 0-0 draw by Ross County this afternoon.
The result leaves The Dandies in ninth place after two games played, with Ross County just above them in eighth.
Goals from Sam Parkin and Kenny McLean gave St Mirren a 2-0 win over Dundee to take them to the top of the table.
Inverness took an early lead against Kilmarnock at the Caledonian Stadium, though the away side equalised just before half-time to earn a point that leaves them in sixth place.
Motherwell and St. Johnstone played out a 1-1 draw at Fir Park, with the home side seeing Steven Hammell sent off after 57 minutes. St Johnstone also saw Rowan Vine sent off after 80 minutes for a second bookable offence.
