Report: Cristiano Ronaldo to reject Real Madrid contract extension

Report: Ronaldo to reject Real contract

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly unwilling to sign a new contract at Real Madrid.

Ronaldo's current deal expires in June 2015, but the La Liga champions could be forced into selling the 27-year-old prior to date in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer.

According to The Metro, Real have offered Ronaldo a 50% pay rise if he commits until 2018 but the player is reluctant to agree.

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have both been credited with interest in Ronaldo in recent weeks.
