Report: Real Madrid want Lucas Silva

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Cruzeiro midfielder Lucas Silva.

The 21-year-old, who has four Brazilian Under-20 caps to his name, has been with his current club since 2007, making his first-team debut in 2012.

Los Blancos have an extensive scouting network in Brazil and according to Marca, Silva has emerged as a January target for the Spanish outfit.

A number of other clubs are said to be monitoring developments for the combative midfielder.
