Real Madrid confirm Isco signing

Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Isco from Malaga, pending the successful completion of his medical.

Club president Florentino Perez revealed yesterday that the playmaker was close to joining Los Blancos, who have now officially confirmed the deal.

Isco has agreed a five-year contract and will be officially unveiled on July 3.

"Real Madrid and Malaga CF have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Francisco Roman Alarcon Isco, who will be bound to the club the next five seasons," a club statement read.

"On Wednesday, July 3 a medical examination will take place and he will be presented at the Bernabeu."

The transfer fee is believed to be in the region of £23m.
