How Real Madrid could line up against Athletic Bilbao

Real Madrid have recovered Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior from injuries for their final match of the season against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday night.

Benzema was missing against Sevilla last weekend due to a nasty cut on his foot which he suffered during the 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano on May 24.

Vinicius, meanwhile, was absent due to knee inflammation, but the Brazil international is back in training ahead of this match and has been named in the squad.

Benzema's future has been the subject of much speculation over the last couple of days, with various reports claiming that he has agreed a big-money move to Saudi Arabia, and a statement arrived on Sunday morning confirming that he will be leaving Real Madrid at the end of this month.

Mariano Diaz and Marco Asensio, who are also both leaving on free transfers this summer, had been major fitness doubts for this match due to muscular issues, but the duo are also in the squad.

Dani Carvajal is also available after being forced to sit out the 2-1 win over Sevilla last weekend due to a suspension.

Head coach Carlo Ancelotti is expected to make a number of changes for this match, which Real Madrid need to win to guarantee second position in the La Liga table, with Eduardo Camavinga and Antonio Rudiger also potentially coming into the XI.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Rudiger, Alaba; Kroos, Camavinga, Valverde; Rodrygo, Benzema, Vinicius
