Real Madrid Castilla boss Zinedine Zidane has insisted that his son, Enzo Zidane, is not given preferential treatment at the club.
The 20-year-old was named Castilla captain at the start of the season and has taken part in all seven of their games in the new campaign.
The midfielder has also been training with the first team over the international break, but Zidane senior has played down suggestions that his son is favoured because of his own standing in the game.
"Enzo plays a lot, but only because he deserves to. What I have to do, which is difficult, but I achieve it, is to make sure my son is just one more player in the dressing room. After, at home, he returns to being my son," Zidane told L'Equipe.
"But at the club I treat him like anyone else. That's also what he wants. Maybe I am a little tougher with him, because I am demanding and because I know he can do better."
Enzo is one of four brothers – alongside Luca, Theo and Elyaz – that represent the Spanish giants in different age groups.
