Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he is in talks with the club over a new contract.
The Italian joined Madrid in summer 2013 before guiding the team to their 10th Champions League title and the Copa del Rey.
The 55-year-old, who has around 18 months remaining on his current deal, now hopes to extend his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.
"I hope to be in the history of Madrid not only for La Decima," he told La Repubblica. "I have a contract until 2016 and we are talking about my renewal."
Madrid continue the defence of their Champions League crown on Wednesday night when they face Basel in Switzerland.
