Gareth Bale to miss El Clasico with thigh injury?

Gareth Bale will reportedly miss out on Real Madrid's trip to face Barcelona on December 17 due to a thigh problem.

Zinedine Zidane is already without Marcelo and Eden Hazard, who picked up an ankle injury against Paris Saint-Germain last week.

The Welshman, who came moments away from moving to China over the summer, has made eight appearances for Los Blancos in La Liga this term.

According to the Daily Mail, Bale has suffered another thigh strain that looks likely to keep him out of the meeting with the champions of Spain later this month.

The winger recently came under the spotlight for brandishing a banner which read "Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order" - a move that reportedly angered the Madrid hierarchy.
