Real Madrid will be bidding to kick off their La Liga title defence with a positive result when they make the trip to newly-promoted Almeria on Sunday night.

Real Madrid have a fully-fit squad heading into Sunday's clash, with the capital giants not reporting any concerns from their success over Frankfurt in the UEFA Super Cup. Luka Modric, Federico Valverde, Toni Kroos, Vinicius Junior and Dani Carvajal were all substituted in the second half of the contest, but all five changes were tactical rather than enforced. New signings Aurelien Tchouameni and Antonio Rudiger featured off the bench on Wednesday, and the pair are available for selection on the opening weekend of the new La Liga campaign.
