Nigel Adkins rules out Mohammed Sissoko move

Reading boss Nigel Adkins has denied suggestions that he could sign Mohammed Sissoko on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old, who has previously played for Liverpool, is currently a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.

The Royals are one of a number of clubs that have been linked with his services, but Adkins has ruled out a move for the Frenchman.

Adkins told the Reading Post: "That's not going to happen."

A number of Championship clubs are believed to be monitoring proceedings.
