Rangers 'agree fee for Connor Goldson'

Rangers have reportedly agreed to pay Brighton & Hove Albion £3m for the services of defender Connor Goldson.

The centre-back is now undergoing a medical with the Scottish giants, according to Sky Sports News.

Gers manager Steven Gerrard has been active in the transfer market this summer and is also said to be closing in on a season-long loan deal for Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria.

Meanwhile, Gerrard's predecessor Graeme Murty has resumed his role as head coach of the team's Under-20s side, according to the same source.

The former England midfielder took up his post at Ibrox on June 1.
