Rangers go top of the Scottish third division with a 2-0 win at Clyde.

Glasgow Rangers are top of the Scottish third division after a 2-0 win against Clyde at Broadwood Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Goals from Dean Shiels and Lee McCulloch were enough to give Rangers the points to take them above Elgin City.

Shiels gave 'Gers the lead after 15 minutes when he curled a shot in from the area before McCulloch made the points safe with a goal ten minutes from time.

Clyde had John Neil sent off on 68 minutes for two bookings, the second coming after a clash with goalscorer Sheils.

Ally McCoist's side have now taken 18 points from nine games and have a game in hand over Elgin.
