Blatter wants relegation for racism

Sepp Blatter has indicated that he would like to see clubs docked points or relegated if their fans racially discriminate against players.

Serbia were recently ordered to play one match behind closed doors following racial abuse towards England Under-21 players.

The FIFA president tweeted: "Financial sanctions: not efficient. Matches behind closed-doors not good solution."

Considering alternative punishments in a follow-up post, he added: "Deduction of points/team relegation."

Earlier this month, Blatter said that Kevin-Prince Boateng was wrong to walk off the pitch during a Serie A game.
