Queen's Park have announced that they have parted company with manager Gardner Speirs.
The Spiders boss left the club after today's 4-0 defeat at the hands of Berwick Rangers pushed them further adrift at the bottom of Scottish League Two.
"Queen's Park wish to advise that they have, by mutual consent, parted company with Gardner Speirs, the longest-serving head coach in Scottish Football," read a statement on the club's official website.
"The decision was reached by all parties last week however Gardner agreed to stay on and take the team in today's game with Berwick Rangers to ensure that preparations were not disturbed.
"Gardner has been with us since January 2008 when he left his post as assistant manager to Ian McCall at Partick Thistle to replace Billy Stark at Hampden."
Queen's Park chairman Ross Caven added that he is "disappointed" to see Speirs leave the club.
