Queen of the South win Scottish Second Division title

Queen of the South have been crowned Scottish Second Division champions following a 6-0 win at Brechin.

Allan Johnston's side have clinched the title with six games of the season left to play.

Nicky Clark and Michael Paton both scored two goals each, while a Ewen Moyes own goal and Gavin Reilly's strike sealed the triumph.

It is Queen of the South's third title in the division following wins in 1951 and 2002.
