Queens Park Rangers are close to securing the services of Shaun Wright-Phillips and Luke Young.
Rangers submitted a bid for 29-year-old winger Wright-Phillips yesterday and have now been granted permission to discuss terms with the player by Manchester City, according to Sky Sports News.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa defender Young has travelled to London to undergo a medical examination ahead of a move to Loftus Road.
The 32-year-old joined Villa in 2008 from Middlesbrough.
