Adel Taarabt set for Fulham medical

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt will undergo a medical at Fulham ahead of a proposed move to the Cottagers.

Taarabt's future has been the subject of much speculation this summer after he was sent home from QPR's training camp having repeatedly turned up late for sessions.

QPR manager Harry Redknapp had initially ruled out a loan move for the 24-year-old, instead insisting upon a permanent transfer.

However, Taarabt now looks set to join west London rivals Fulham on a season-long loan deal as QPR prepare for life in the Championship.

Taarabt made 29 appearances for QPR last season, scoring five goals in the process.
