Report: Queens Park Rangers want Jay Spearing

Queens Park Rangers are reportedly interested in signing Jay Spearing from Bolton Wanderers.

It is understood that the Hoops are still keen to bolster their squad before the transfer window slams shut at the start of next month, particularly in midfield.

According to The Sun, Rangers boss Harry Redknapp is a keen admirer of the former Liverpool man and will make an official move next week.

Aston Villa have also been credited with an interest in Spearing by a number of sources.
