Queens Park Rangers 'consider loan deal for Liverpool's Joe Cole'

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp is reportedly keen to reunite with Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole.

Cole, who came through the ranks at West Ham United under Redknapp, has fallen out of favour at Anfield after returning from a season-long loan stint at Ligue 1 side Lille.

Struggling QPR are believed to be targeting Cole on a loan in January until the end of the season but the former Chelsea player's £90,000-a-week wages could prove to be an issue in the deal, according to The Independent.

The 31-year-old has featured seven times for the Reds so far this season.
