Report: Queens Park Rangers fail in bid to sign Andre Ayew from Marseille

Queens Park Rangers have failed in their attempt to sign Ghana captain Andre Ayew, according to reports.

The 25-year-old, who plies his trade in Ligue 1 for Marseille, is out of contract at the end of the season.

According to The Daily Mail, the R's have made an enquiry for Ayew, but this was rebuffed by the French club.

Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be interested in the Black Stars forward, who is currently playing for his country at the Africa Cup of Nations.
