Leroy Fer completes Queens Park Rangers switch

Fer completes QPR switch

Netherlands international midfielder Leroy Fer has completed his move from Norwich City to Queens Park Rangers.

The 24-year-old has penned a three-year deal at Loftus Road for an undisclosed fee, thought to be in the region of £7.5m.

Fer joined Norwich from FC Twente in July 2013, but he had been expected to leave the club following their relegation to the Championship last season.

"I can't wait to get started here," he told QPR's official website. "It was always my dream to stay in England, in the Premier League. QPR did well last season to come up and the squad is full of top players, so I'm delighted to be here."

Fer has scored one goal in seven appearances for the Dutch national team.
