Queens Park Rangers striker Jay Bothroyd has joined Sheffield Wednesday on a loan deal until January.
The 30-year-old has scored just three goals in 21 appearances since joining the Rs last summer.
The West London outfit confirmed the news on their official Twitter account, posting: "Jay Bothroyd has joined Championship side Sheffield Wednesday on loan until January 2nd 2013."
Bothroyd could now be in line for a starting role in the Owls' trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
