Sandro confident of Queens Park Rangers survival

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro is confident that his side can beat the drop from the Premier League if they continue to play well this season.

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro is optimistic that his side will avoid relegation from the Premier League if they maintain their recent level of performances.

Chris Ramsey's men have lost narrowly to Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in their last two top-flight outings to leave them languishing in the bottom three.

However, the Brazilian midfielder is confident that he and his teammates can pull themselves out of their predicament if they continue to play well for the remainder of the campaign.

"The way we played in these two matches shows me that we can stay up. We know it will be tough but we will go for it," Sandro told the club's official website.

"I am confident about what we can do because of the way we are playing. If we had scored first it would have been very different but we gave the first goal to them and it gave them the confidence."

QPR face Crystal Palace in their next Premier League fixture on Saturday at Selhurst Park.
