Warnock: 'The linesman guessed'

Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock thinks that the linesman guessed Joey Barton headbutted Bradley Johnson this afternoon.

Barton saw red after he had opened the scoring at Loftus Road before Norwich went on to win 2-1.

"The linesman saw him headbutt Bradley Johnson. So they give what they saw. He has guessed if I'm honest. Who says cheats don't prosper? Bradley has conned him," Warnock said afterwards.

"The heads are together, but I don't think Joey would have gone down. I'm not surprised Bradley has gone down. It changed the game completely."

Barton has also said that the officials were "conned" after the game on his Twitter page.

Steve Morison scored the winning goal seven minutes from time to lift Norwich to ninth in the Premier League.
