Warnock denies SWP serious injury

Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock has calmed fears that Shaun Wright-Phillips may have broken his foot during the Premier League clash against Norwich City at the weekend.

The former Manchester City star was spotted leaving Carrow Road on crutches after Rangers' 2-1 defeat on Saturday.

"Shaun is undergoing extensive treatment this week," Warnock told the club's official website. "Fortunately there's no break, and we haven't written him off just yet for Saturday's game with West Brom."

Meanwhile, the West London club are considering offering Clint Hill a new contract at Loftus Road.
