Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp resolves issues with Adel Taarabt

Redknapp resolves Taarabt dispute

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp believes that Adel Taarabt can become a "valuable" player for the team after the pair resolved their recent despite.

Club owner Tony Fernandes was forced to apologise to the fans when Taarabt hit back after Redknapp publicly slammed the 25-year-old for being overweight.

"I had a great chat with Adel," Redknapp told reporters. "He wants to get fit and get back in the team. He worked very hard in training this week.

"Adel's admitted he needs to get fitter and work harder and he's told me that he's going to do that. That's all I want. Adel will be training with us again this morning and as soon as he's fit I'm sure he'll be a valuable player for us."

Redknapp also claimed that Taarabt "might be involved" against Chelsea this weekend.
