Queens Park Rangers frontman DJ Campbell could be back in action for the West London side within a month after damaging a metatarsal.
The former Blackpool striker has been sidelined since October after injuring his foot in a training session.
"DJ had a pin put into the toe on October 20th, and he is coming along very well," club physio Nigel Cox told the club's official website.
"He is out of the boot after three weeks and now we will gradually increase his activity. We could see him back and available to the manager in the next three to four weeks."
The 30-year-old last featured for Neil Warnock's side against Fulham last month.
