Djibril Cisse has been given international clearance to make his Premier League debut for Queens Park Rangers in tonight's match at Aston Villa.
The striker signed for the Loftus Road club from Lazio on Tuesday's transfer deadline day.
There had earlier been doubts over whether the Italian Football Association would be able to complete the necessary paperwork in time.
Cisse has previously played in the Premier League for Liverpool and Sunderland.
