Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar will reportedly be on the sidelines for three weeks, meaning that he will miss the Champions League tie against Real Madrid.

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar is reportedly expected to be on the treatment table for three weeks with an ankle injury.

The Brazilian was forced off the pitch on a stretcher after rolling his ankle under a challenge from Bouna Sarr in Sunday's 3-0 victory over Marseille.

Manager Unai Emery is hopeful that the forward will be fit for next week's crucial Champions League last-16 second leg against Real Madrid.

However, according to Sky Sports News, initial scans indicate that the former Barcelona star is expected to be out of action for three weeks, meaning that he will miss the March 6 clash at Parc des Princes.

There were concerns that Neymar would not play again this season, but the broadcaster claims that the injury is not as bad as first feared.

The 26-year-old has scored 28 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions this season.
