Simon Grayson picks up League One Manager of the Month award

Preston North End's Simon Grayson has been announced as League One's Manager of the Month for October.

Grayson guided his side to five wins in a row last month as the Lilywhites put themselves in contention for the playoffs.

Their penultimate victory in October saw them come from two goals down to earn a dramatic 3-2 victory over Fleetwood Town at Deepdale.

Preston have lost their opening two games of this month, but they have the chance to get back to winning ways on Saturday with a trip to Havant & Waterlooville in the first round of the FA Cup.
