Manchester City accidentally confirm Eliaquim Mangala capture

Manchester City have accidentally confirmed the signing of Eliaquim Mangala from Porto after a video of the Frenchman arriving at the club prematurely appeared on its website.

The footage, which has since been pulled, showed the defender arriving in Manchester by private jet, touring the team's training ground and even recording a message for their supporters.

"I am here to help the team to win titles: the league, the cup and the Champions League," he said through an interpreter.

Mangala is said to have cost City £32m, but the deal is yet to be officially confirmed.
