Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson has praised the impact of on-loan striker Dwight Gayle since his arrival at London Road.
Gayle has scored four goals in five games after joining Peterborough on loan from Dagenham & Redbridge and Ferguson is confident that the 22-year-old will remain with the club.
Ferguson told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "It would be a brave man to try to take him off us now. I'm sure he'll stay with us.
"He listens. He picks up things quickly, which is always a sign of a good player. He's going to be a really good player the boy."
Gayle scored Peterborough's decisive goal in their 2-1 victory over Cardiff City last weekend.
