Half-Time Report: Coventry City trail Peterborough United at half time

Peterborough United lead Coventry City 2-0 at half time in the League One encounter at the Ricoh Arena thanks to a goal and an assist from the in-form Marcus Maddison.

Coventry City find themselves 2-0 down to Peterborough United at half time in their League One clash at the Ricoh Arena.

Frank Nouble came close to putting the home side ahead after 12 minutes when he was sent clear of the Peterborough back line, but his effort was beaten away by Ben Alnwick.

Darren Ferguson's side took the lead on 17 minutes when Jon Taylor slid in to apply the finish to Marcus Maddison's cross.

Ten minutes later, Maddison notched his sixth goal of the season when he fired home a free kick from 30 yards that seemed to deceive Lee Burge in the Coventry goal.
