Lazio have maintained their impressive start to the Serie A season with a comfortable 3-0 win against Pescara away from home.
The visitors were in control of the game right from the start and went ahead after just five minutes when Hernanes scored a direct free kick.
The Brazilian playmaker came close to doubling Lazio's lead six minutes later, but his right-footed shot from outside the Pescara box was saved by Mattia Perin.
Stefano Mauri tried his luck from distance on 15 minutes but in vain, and seven minutes later Alvaro Gonzalez's header from an Abdoulay Konko went just wide.
Lazio eventually scored their second goal of the afternoon in the 25th minute, as Miroslav Klose found the target from close range after being set up by Antonio Candreva.
Ten minutes later the visitors from Rome made it 3-0, this time Klose heading home Hernanes's delivery.
Lazio dominated proceedings in the second half too, with Hernanes and Candreva testing Perin, but the former Italian champions failed to add to their tally.
