Jackie McNamara to take Dundee United post?

Numerous reports have claimed that Jackie McNamara will be appointed the new manager of Dundee United tomorrow.

The Terrors have been in the market for a new boss ever since Peter Houston departed the club yesterday afternoon.

Having assessed a number of candidates, it is believed that the United board have settled upon McNamara, who is currently in charge of Partick Thistle.

The 39-year-old, who took over at Firhill in April 2011, has previously played for Dunfermline, Celtic, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Aberdeen and Falkirk.
