Sebastian Giovinco and Sergio Floccari scored a goal apiece as Parma took maximum points from their trip to Siena this afternoon.

The home side had the best chances of the opening 45 minutes. However, both Simone Vergassola and Mattia Destro failed to keep their efforts from inside the area on target.

Siena continued to dominate proceedings after the restart, but they were unable to breach the away side's net.

Their failure to score was punished in the 67th minute when Italian international Giovinco found the net from outside the area with a powerful strike.

Floccari made sure of the outcome in stoppage time when he scored from close range.
