Team News: Alberto Gilardino leads Palermo attack against Empoli

Palermo have named Alberto Gilardino in their attack for the visit of Serie A rivals Empoli to the Stadio Renzo Barbera this evening.

The 33-year-old will be joined up front by Franco Vazquez as the Rosanero try to end a run of four home games without a win.

Empoli, meanwhile, have named forward duo Marko Livaja and Manuel Pucciarelli in their attack for the trip to Sicily.

There is also a place in the side for Riccardo Saponara, but veteran striker Massimo Maccarone is only named on the bench.
