A late goal from substitute Gabriel Torje was enough to salvage a 1-1 draw for European hopefuls Udinese at Palermo.
The hosts made the breakthrough in the 31st minute when Fabrizio Miccoli fired a low left-footed drive across Samir Handanovic in the away goal.
The visitors came within inches of going in level at the break as Almen Abdi's effort went narrowly wide.
Udinese were lucky to end the match with 11 men when Joel Ekstrand should have been shown a second yellow card for a deliberate handball.
After long periods of possession in the second half, the away side scored the equaliser thanks to Torje's strike with just six minutes to play.
