Novara 1-0 Udinese

Udinese's European charge has taken a knock after a shock 1-0 defeat to relegation-threatened Novara at the Stadio Comunale Silvio Piola.

The only goal of the game came after 16 minutes as Jeda was on hand to head in Giuseppe Mascara's cross.

Udinese dominated much of the second half, but Medhi Al Mouttaqui, Antonio Di Natale and Michele Pazienza were all off target with their efforts.

Udinese stay fifth after the defeat, while Novara have moved to within 11 points of safety.
