Notts County sign Leicester City youngster Jack Barmby on loan

Notts County have confirmed the signing of Leicester City midfielder Jack Barmby on a short-term loan deal.

The 20-year-old, who joined Leicester from Manchester United in May 2014, will remain at Meadow Lane until November 13.

Barmby, who becomes Notts's 20th signing of the summer, has said that he is pleased to link up with the Magpies.

"It's important that I get some first-team experience at a competitive level of football," he told the club's official website.

"Notts County was the only club in League Two I would have signed for."

Barmby could make his debut for Notts against York City on Saturday.
