Danny Haynes departs Notts County with immediate effect

Notts County have terminated the contract of striker Danny Haynes with immediate effect.

The 26-year-old's deal at Meadow Lane was due to expire at the end of the season.

Haynes, who joined the Magpies from Charlton Athletic in summer 2013, failed to score in five appearances this term.

The forward spent part of the campaign on loan at Crewe Alexandra.

Notts County are back in League One action on Boxing Day when they entertain MK Dons.
