Forest close on Egyptian teenager?

Egypt Under-20 international Trezeguet could join Nottingham Forest over the weekend, according to reports.

The Al Ahly midfielder has been linked with several European outfits since his performances at the Under-20 World Cup.

However, according to the Nottingham Post, the Championship side will seal the signing of the highly-rated player if they can agree a fee with his club and obtain a work permit.

Trezeguet, whose real name is Mahmoud Hassan, has played in the World Club Championship for the Egyptian club, but he came to prominence with a goal against England in the Under-20 competition last month.
