Nottingham Forest attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi has been ruled out of Saturday's Premier League showdown with Brighton & Hove Albion at the City Ground.
The former Chelsea man was missing from last weekend's 5-0 humiliation at the hands of Bournemouth due to a groin problem, one that left him in "a lot of pain" according to Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Forest boss confirmed in his pre-game press conference that Hudson-Odoi remains out, but in brighter news, Ibrahim Sangare (hamstring) could finally be ready for his comeback.
With Hudson-Odoi still missing, Jota Silva should reprise his role in an unchanged attack, as Morgan Gibbs-White and Anthony Elanga continue to provide support to talismanic marksman Chris Wood.
The New Zealand international may have lost his powers in Bournemouth, but he thrives against Brighton, scoring more goals against the Seagulls than any other team in English football (nine).
Santo hooked his captain Ryan Yates at half time at the Vitality Stadium, though, so Nicolas Dominguez should now return to partner Elliot Anderson in the middle of the park.
Alex Moreno for Neco Williams is the only alteration that the hosting manager might consider in defence, but the latter should reprise his role alongside Murillo, Nikola Milenkovic, Ola Aina and Matz Sels, still leading the race for the Golden Glove as he goes in search of a 10th Premier League clean sheet of the season.
Nottingham Forest possible starting lineup:
Sels; Aina, Murillo, Milenkovic, Williams; Anderson, Dominguez; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Silva; Wood
