Chris Hughton admits Kei Kamara interest

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has admitted that he has "made enquiries" about Sporting Kansas City striker Kei Kamara.

Reports on Wednesday suggested that the Canaries were keen to sign the 28-year-old Sierra Leone international during the January transfer window.

"Kei Kamara is a player we have made enquiries about, but any progress remains behind closed doors," Hughton told reporters.

Kamara scored 11 goals for Sporting Kansas City in the MLS last season.
