Steven Whittaker: 'I'll play anywhere I'm asked'

Recent Norwich City signing Steven Whittaker has said that he will "give 100%" in whichever position Chris Hughton places him.

Whittaker believes that his best position is at full-back but was keen to point out that he has played elsewhere and will be happy to be a utility player.

"I'm predominantly a full-back but in my younger days I played in midfield, so I still remember the times and wherever I'm asked to play I'll always give 100%," Whittaker told the Eastern Daily Press.

"I've played all across the back four and all across the midfield for Rangers, so whatever is put my way I'll try to adapt to it the best I can."

Whittaker signed for Norwich on a free transfer last week.
