Young midfielder Cameron McGeehan earns new Norwich City contract

New Norwich deal for McGeehan

Norwich City this morning announced a new two-year contract for teenage midfielder Cameron McGeehan.

The 19-year-old, who has appeared on the Canaries' bench once this season in the League Cup but is yet to make his senior debut, has signed until the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

Norwich also have the option to extend the deal for last season's FA Youth Cup-winning captain by a further year.

McGeehan scored three goals in 18 starts on loan at Luton Town to help the Hatters win the Conference Premier last term.
