Dean Shiels gets Northern Ireland call-up

Dean Shiels has been added to the Northern Ireland squad for the World Cup qualifier against Luxembourg.

The Rangers midfielder has been drafted in as cover for the suspended Kyle Lafferty and Chris Brunt, who received red cards during Friday's defeat to Portugal.

Aberdeen winger Niall McGinn is doubtful for the Luxembourg clash after picking up an injury against Portugal, but Jamie Ward and Shane Ferguson are likely to shake off knocks to make the squad.

Northern Ireland lie in fourth place in Group F with six points from their seven games.
