Ronaldo has said it would be a "dream" to score one last goal in his final professional game.
The 34-year-old retired from club football in February and will play his last game for the Brazilian national side - a friendly with Romania - in Sao Paolo tonight.
"I'm very, very nervous and still shocked," Ronaldo said ahead of the match. "It would be a dream if I can score a goal.
"I'm very happy for closing this part of my life with the national team. I have nothing to prove. I only have to thank the Brazilian people for their unconditional support."
During his career, the striker had successful stints at Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Barcelona and won the FIFA Player of the Year award three times.
